This November’s election will be an important one to the Carmel-Mahopac community. Races will take place for the positions listed below. Clearly, we need all the Democrats in our town to participate so that we have a stronger voice in our local government!

Currently, it is expected that Schumer, Gillibrand and Hall will again run for office. Governor David Paterson has expressed his intentions to run, but a Democratic primary is anticipated. Greg Ball has announced his plans to run for NY State Senate.
Locally, the incumbent Republicans have not yet announced their plans. The Town of Carmel Democratic Committee looks forward to working with Democrats ready to provide new leadership.
